Human rights defenders say refugees "are significantly starting to be targets of xenophobia, discrimination, and violent aggression" on their return to Syria. The pact also says that asylum statements with "small chances of currently being acknowledged" needs to be examined swiftly, with out automatically admitting the applicant into EU territory.
